We are looking for a Service Technician

HL.Skjong is a leading producer of professional cleaning equipment for the maritime and land-based industries. To strengthen our service department and become even more accessible to our customers, we are looking for a Service Technician.

You should enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. The Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that systems remain operational, maintaining customer satisfaction, and bringing firsthand experiences back to the team.

Practical experience will be emphasized. This could be from areas such as equipment suppliers, water/wastewater, industry, shipyards, aquaculture, chemistry, or process industries.

Key Responsibilities:

The position involves service assignments on equipment at customer sites, participating in the development of equipment for automatic rinsing and cleaning processes, system start-ups, and some installation work. Troubleshooting and testing are also key tasks. Travel will be required as part of these responsibilities.

Qualifications and personal Attributes

• Trade certificate in mechanics, electrical work, or automation, or relevant experience
• Strong technical understanding
• Proficient in using digital tools
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Responsible and solution-oriented
• Proficient in both written and spoken Norwegian and English
• Curious and eager to learn
• Driver's license (Class B)
