Our sustainability goals
At HL.Skjong, we strive to enable more companies to contribute to achieving the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Our daily work revolves around water, purification, and the utilization of raw materials. Here are some key questions that guide our efforts:

At HL.Skjong, we have selected three of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals to focus on. These goals greatly influence much of our work. The commitment to these goals has become such an integral part of who we are that we now consider them a part of our core values.
6 Clean water and sanitation
It's important to ensure a more sustainable use of water. At HL.Skjong, we aim to contribute to this by offering cleaning technology that reduces water consumption, as well as by promoting effective solutions for water recycling.
12 Responsible consumption and production
We strive to offer products that contribute to more efficient resource use. With our treatment plants, we aim to help more companies better utilize the nutrients in their production processes.
14 Life below water
By reducing the use of chemicals, we can improve our utilization of water and reduce ocean pollution. HL.Skjong has developed an aquaculture-approved disinfection system that uses only natural ingredients and reverts to its original form after use.
Eco-lighthouse
HL.Skjong is certified as an Eco-Lighthouse, which means that everyone who does business or collaborates with us can trust that both our employees and the company itself maintain a strong environmental focus.
Our goal is not only for us at HL.Skjong to be environmentally conscious while at work but also to inspire our employees to carry this environmental commitment into their personal lives. Additionally, we aim to influence the companies we collaborate with to become more environmentally aware.

This certification enables us at HL.Skjong to make active choices to minimize our environmental footprint, comply with relevant legal requirements, and achieve environmental goals.
